【서울교육대학교 공고 제2025-114호】 Teaching Position at Seoul National University of Education We are looking for a dedicated and responsible full-time English lecturer to work at the Department of English Education at Seoul National University of Education (http://www.snue.ac.kr). 1. Qualifications • A Master’s Degree or higher in humanities, education, or social sciences (preferred areas: TESOL education) • Minimum of 2 years of English teaching experience at the university level • Native English speaker • Other disqualifications are subject to the university's recruitment regulations 2. Working Conditions/Payment • Teaching Areas: English speaking, English writing, Classroom English, Advanced English conversation for undergraduates, and 1 or 2 lectures for graduates. Additionally, the instructor can be assigned to teach TESOL courses at the International Language Institute when required (weekend classes may be scheduled). • Position: Full-time instructor. • Contract Period: 1-year contract (March 1, 2026 – Feb 28, 2027). Renewal is possible based on performance evaluation and in accordance with university policies. • Teaching load: Approximately 14 class hours per week for both graduate and undergraduate courses. • Compensation: – Class hours up to 14 per week are paid at 101,900 KRW per hour. – Additional hours beyond 14 per week are paid at 60,000 KRW per hour. –For courses offered through the International Language Institute, compensation will follow the Institute’s pay scale. • Note: Actual teaching hours may vary depending on course offerings and student enrollment. Class schedules will be determined by the university. Instructors may not choose their own teaching schedules. • Severance: One-month severance pay will be provided upon completion of the one-year contract, in accordance with Korean labor law. • Benefits: Pension and health insurance will be provided under the National Pension and National Health Insurance systems, in accordance with Korean law. 3.
